Just curious.. When are you ordering your Invites.. How long before are you sending and how long for RSVP? All this is confusing me since me and FH are between two senarios for ceremony.. So it has alot of my checks on hold right now and I wanna start pushing forward..

We are March 1 - we picked our invitations with a delivery date of January 1 but we are also sending a Save the Date out on August 1st.

W're March 8th. I sent my STD's out at the end of April because I have a lot of OOT guests and wanted to give them as much notice as possible. I haven't started invitation shopping yet, but I want to have them mailed out around Thanksgiving time. I am going to set my RSVP due date for January 15th so I have time to chase the people who inevitably don't respond on time. I also want a chance to invite 'B-listers' if we get a lot of 'no's.'

I'm the end of April. I sent my STDs at the end of June since we have a lot of out of state guests. We picked out our invitations a few weeks ago and we set our RSVP date for March 14. We are planning on sending them out in January.

I don't want ours to get lost in the holiday card or holiday madness shuffle so I'm send mine out at the 3 month mark - around October 25. I want to make the RSVP date the first weekend of January.

Im sending STD's next week hopefully. (waiting for my mom to finish my famillies.. I am 95% done with FH's friends!) I am debating when to order but I agree I do not want them lost in holiday card shuffle. Would sending the first week in January and asking them back a month later be ok you think? (First week in Feb.. So I have time to get out B listers if I have too..

I am late April, so I'd love to hear more feedback. I def. will send right after the holidays, but want to have enough time for my B-list as well. What's a normal time to give for RSVP?

We're going to send out our invites 2 months before our wedding date. Our RSVP date will be 4weeks before the wedding. We're not doing a b list because I feel that people know when they should have their invite & don't want o offend anyone sending them a last min invite.

I was thinking begininng of December bc I wanted to to get them out before the holiday rush and we have half guests are out of state/country.

We're the same date and I'm sending out my Save the Dates sometime within the next few weeks I just have to wait for them to be delivered. I haven't even looked at invitations but I'll probably have them ordered by October and send them out in the middle of January. I'm not sure how long production takes, so that's just a rough estimate.

YAy Date twin!! That is exactly what I was kind of thinking in my head as well. i did not want to send to early with a later RSVP date and have them lose it or get lost in holiday cards but I did not want to send to late and have to have them rush them back.. This does seem to be the best time line.. And I am happy you are only sending your save the dates now too. I thought I was late! LOL
