Mariann blue daisy or Be creative photos with Eric? Additionally, package advice?
Hi girls, I am slowly narrowing things down. What do you know about either party, do you like their work? Mariann's packages go up to 7400, be creative goes up to 9400. Any advice. Or other photographers you know and love? Are those prices unreasonable (obviously they have cheaper packages but I am not sure what I need in a package). What is necessary? I am getting very confused and in this economy it amazes me that things prices still are going up rather than down! Please help.

I don't know Be Creative but I've seen Blue Daisy's work on this site and her work is Amazing. I would have used her but way out of my budget. she is on the higher end, so that is up to you. I would recommend that you get a package that includes.
DVD (with rights) All printed proofs online gallery 2 photogs TY cards at least 8 hours coverage

I am using Angelica Glass and LOVE her (she is in the price range of the photogs you are looking at). See epics in my album. Her style is photojournalistic and has a little more 'egde' than most.

Do you mind me asking what this ran you? I saw the 6K to show up and was like ughhhhhh. Shes amazing, but I felt like with any additions, she'd end up being 10K?

AG's price includes a proofbook. The CD you get immediately with the proofbook if you buy an album. There are a few album options. Mine was about 2K.
I know other photogs include more but AG has great album designs, insane pictures, and you can make prints/enlargements yourself. I am making my thank yous at andorama.

Book Mariann immediately, if she is available. I wanted her so bad, but she was already booked. I am still devastated. I looked for months, and her pictures were by far the best. Besides that, she seems to be the most wonderful person. Good luck!

I would day Blue Daisy, her pics are so vibrant and beautiful and cheaper than creative. Good luck!!!

i love Be creative. Eric is super nice and responsive. I really love their photos and their blog. I think they get better every year!

Well, I love my photographer (suprise suprise). Her company is called Modern Photography and Denise is the main photographer. She's on the WPJA website and it's only the best that are able to be members. I love her pictures! She always tries to be above her competitors and offers you the best for the best price. Her album layout was by far the best I saw in term of quality and design. She's definately less than the photographers you mentioned....

i booked mariann. she's def on the higher end of the price range. i booked my package according to how many hours i wanted her. it includes
e-pics engagement pic guestbook 9 hours coverage album CD of proofs online gallery
i think that's it, but i'd have to dbl check my contract i def recommend her. see my album for e-pics.

We booked Mariann from Blue Daisy. Her work is absolutely amazing and she is such a sweet person.

Blue Daisy seems to do GREAT work.
But ofcourse I loved my photographer too..Katie Lyman.

Mariann was my photographer and she did an amazing job and was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process all the way through our album planning and everything! I highly recommend her!!! I agree w/ LeslieMike...best spent $$$! That being said, keep in mind, a top package is not a necessity. Sit down w/ fh, if he's interested, and together look at the break down of what each one offers and what your guys really need/want. I went with one of her mid range packages bc it was exactly what we needed. The higher packages just included more time and epics but we didnt need either, and also more album pages.
Our package included:
two photographers for 9 hours
Unlimited number of photos taken and the couples receive a minimum of 600 (we got 1000+)
images as paper proofs (4x6 unmarked prints) and the same images as high resolution files on a CD or DVD once we finished our album
a custom designed 10x10 album with 40 sides (20 pages). It ended up being like 110 pics or so I think?
She posted teaser pics on her blog like 2 days later, not to say that always happens. Just depends on how busy she is I guess.
Approximately 3-4 weeks after the wedding, an online private gallery was available so friends and family can also view and even purchase the wedding images.
