Hi girls....I would really appreciate some feedback on those who have had , plan to, or even looked at Marina Del Rey. After seeing 13 other venues, it was the firsto ne I really liked...I am only concerned with the size of the dance floor in the Venetian room, as it seems a little small. Maybe it was just me, but is it on the smaller side? I plan on having around 150 guests. Thanks.

Re: Marina Del Rey question
i visited. dont remember which is the venetian room. is that the one all teh way to the left??
either way, we were looking for about 150, and i never thought the dance floor was small. if you think about it, not 150 ppl will be dancing at one time (unfortunately..but true)

Re: Marina Del Rey question
I had my reception at Marina del Rey in the Venetian room. The wedding was unbelievable. The food was delicious and I have received numerous compliments from my guests. I had 140 guests and the dance floor was packed but it wasn't too small.

Re: Marina Del Rey question
I had my e-party in the Venetian. We had 110 people on a sunday afternoon and the dancefloor was enough. Grant it not everyone was dancing but a good portion was. I loved that room because we were able to have our cocktail hour set up in the extra space on the side of the room (if you have more than 12 tables you'll need the space for your extra tables) and it looked great. You have nothing to worry about with Marina, the service and the food was great. It was one of my choices for the wedding and had a hard time deciding. We ended up booking both places and couldn't be happier! Good luck!
