Marina del rey review
Ill keep it short for once.
The place is gorgeous, you have a beautiful view and for anyone who wants to go out for fresh air, smoke a cig or whatever you are in an area where you can still see into the reception room(well depends which room you have) which i liked
Food was excellent, i tasted a bunch of things at CH and not one complaint. Had the typical CH food such as stuffed mushrooms, baked clams, mini crab cake. Tasted some of FH's raviolis and they had home made type pizza which was great. ONLY thing is that there were no knives anywhere, FH needed it for some of his food and had to wait around for a waitress and ask her for one.
Appetizer, pasta course were delicious. I had the smoked salmon which was very tasty...Fh had the apricot glazed chicken which is stuffed and wrapped with bacon, i tasted some and it was great. The cake was chocolate and banana and it was great. The service was excellent, FH even waited around before we left to find the guy who served us to tip him bc he did such a great job.
DJ was satisfaction guaranteed and they did an excellent job, kept the dance floor packed all night...The groom is a drummer and he did a performance to the song -ac/dc you shook me all night long and everyone crowded around him going crazy, nice touch so if any of your grooms are drummers i suggest that lol.
I liked the entrance very energetic...just a tip bc i notice at weddings sometimes the entrance doesnt make a big impact and ill barely notice, but it was great.
And for any mets fans, roberto alomar was there.
We had a great time, beautiful place, good food and great service, you'll have a beautiful wedding if its there
