Mario Badescu - Facial (midtown NYC), reviews?

going for a facial at Mario Badescu in midtown NYC - per a co-worker's suggestion.

Any reviews on this place - what should I expect?
I haven't had a facial in years but I need to do something about my blackheads pronto!

Actually, I was there last month and it was my first time I would suggest booking with Leah... i think that was the lady I had. For the price it is worth it.... Leah did an excellent job and cleaned my skin thoroughly! Though if you are looking for a spa experience, then this isn't the place. There aren't any massages and the walls are so thin, you can here the conversations next door.

I've gone there a few times and they are ok. I always suggest finding a dermatologist that has an astetician in their office for a complete skin care regimine. So, if you break out after your facial they can take care of you. I go to tribecca skin center. The facials there cost me the same as they did at MB.

I was there a few months ago and had a very good experience. Its a no-frills place and they do a really great job.

I am a sucker though so if you don't want to go over budget beware...they ask you if you want add ons and it started to add up! but thats anywhere you go really. still had a great experience.
