Hello ladies!! I need all of your fabulous help! I want to get this silk satin Marisa wedding gown...but I don't know if I should get it in white or ivory.
I compared the two colors in natural light and I couldn't really tell the difference..but I can def. tell the difference in regular indoor lighting - the ivory looks pinkish/gold! But I liked both colors in the sun..What to do?
I'm Asian, very fair skin w/ slight pinkish undertones. Which color do you think will work better w/ me? FH will be wearing a black tux/suit. Thanks in advance!

Hmmmmm, I think the Ivory sounds like it would look great against your skin.........

I am getting a Marisa and I went with the ivory. I love the color and it blends well with skin types rather than stark white. good luck!

My Marisa gown was ivory, it was softer against my skintone. Also, since my gown was lace, I liked a more 'antique' white look than something that was more stark white. Hope this helps!

I'm an asian as well, but have a darker skin tone that what you describe. I'll go with ivory...it complement all types of skin tones

I ALSO WOULD GO W/ THE IVORY - THEY SAY THAT IF YOU HAVE A DARKER COMPLEXION THE WHITE LOOKS GOOD BUT IF YOU ARE LIGHTER SKINED THEN THE WHITE CAN CAUSE YOU TO LOOK TOO WASHED OUT. ALSO I HAVE A FRIEND WHO'S PARENTS WERE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THEY TOLD ME TO GO W/ THE IVORY CAUSE DEPENDING WHERE YOUR PICS ARE SOMETIMES THE WHITE WILL PICK UP TOO MUCH LIGHT CAN CAUSE A GLARE.

oh wow! it's unanimous!!
will ivory silk-satin look white next to future hubs? this marisa gown looks pinkish(VERY VERY LIGHT) in the sun..i don't know the style# off the top of my head..but it's a vneck trumpet.
