I am not using them and actually nevee went to see him because i spoke to him on the phone and he was already very demanding of me...and thats NOT what I was interested in having for my photographer especially on my wedding day...I CANCELLED appointment, he wrote me an email to apologize for what happened on the phone ...which was nice i guess...BUT I still didnt go to appointment
maybe others had a better experience

Here's two sides of the story - My MOH used them and their pictures turned out simply beautiful. Really, truly, gorgeous. I, however, met Mark Kauffman personally, and DH and I were so turned off by his personality that we walked out on him. He was EXTREMELY pushy, refused to give us a price list and told us that we obviously aren't 'fine art' people if we have to ask for prices. When we stood up to leave, that's when he offered to give us prices. Prices vary according to the photographer you choose. We asked to see sample books of each photographer so we could see which ones we would like, and he refused. He's a really quirky fellow, that's all I have to say!

Same thing here. I was so turned off by our conversation that I cancelled the appointment. He called a grilled me about why I was cancelling and why I hired who I did.
Being comfortable with your photographer is so important!

I met with him, too. And he was pushy. He seemed nice overall, but pushy. He called a few times after we met with him to try to change our minds after we booked another photographer.
Fortunately, when I told him who we picked, he said nioe things.
My photographer, on the other hand, talked to us about angles and lenses and was really excited about photography and then after almost an hour an a 1/2 did he even attempt to 'sell'

My DH and i met with Mark, and we thought he was great. His work was amazing, but we didn't book because he left me like 10 messages a day which annoyed me.

I was so disappointed when we met with Mark. He sounded amazing on his website.
His office was dirty, his books were old and falling apart and he was a 'hard seller'.
He said 'you give me a check tonight and you make me very happy' and the best: 'you spend a lot of money and you make me very happy'.
He also told me that he didn't like my timing 3:30 church (full mass) and 6:30 CH. I think he wanted to shorten it so he was there less hours. He also said he didn't want to go shoot us by the water or in a park, because scenery was not import. it was personality that's import. I was like, well our personalities are best reflected when we are in areas that we enjoy.
I saw a bride in there who he had already been working with. It sounded like her wedding was less than a month away and he still wasn't giving her prices on albums.
Anyway, now I realize this will probably be deleted, oh well I got it off my chest for those few to see.

Oh, one more thing. Within 4 min. of speaking to him he had printed up a contract. Did I miss something, like a sales presentation or conversations???
