For the marketing experts .. in this time that money is so tight .. who is spending money on advertising??? A friend of mine is in need of help with getting some advertising, and pressed for time, it seems a little discouraging because this is basically a time when no one wants to spend .. so any ideas of who is spending would be great and time saving.
Any ideas of local, specific companies to target would be great, too.

I don't really know what type of advise you are looking for. There are certainally companies out there buying advertising & marketing... is she selling to companies like Pepsi? Or is she selling to mom & pop shops? What is she selling?
