Tell me your HONEST opinion... I was thinking of having a Mary Kay party right before the wedding and invte all the bridal party, FMIL, & my mom...and as my present to the bridal party, give them all a certain amt of money to put towards makeup, perfume,etc... from the party. Then they could use their stuff for the wedding. I have 7 girls so I was thinking of around $50 each to spend at the party. We would all put on makeup, have fun, and then buy stuff... how would u like that as a BM gift?

I think it's a nice gift,,,but I am not the best at my make-up application (at least not wedding quality application) to use it for the day of.

I think its great all my girls, my mom and myself wore MK for my wedding. My lady had a party at a local hotel with some other consultants and she picked out everyone's best colors and showed them how to wear it.
We did ours a few months before and she did a skin class so the girls would have time to prep their skin for the wedding and then individual glamour appointments.
I know sell MK in Texas because of her.
My consultant was Lisa Kelty and you can look her up on Marykay.com

It might be fun to do before the wedding, like a few weeks, but not the day before unless you know all the girls are not allergic to MK. I break out from their makeup and cremes.

i think thats a cute idea... i agree.. maybe a couple of weeks before so its not all rushed..

also if they dont like much of the makeup they could get shower gels and stuff

I was thinking of the same thing. A friend of mine is a Mary Kay rep and has been begging me to have a party. I think it's a great idea.

I am a HUGE Mary Kay fan, so I would have say that I think it is a wonderful idea!!!

To add on to the FM I wrote to you....
My girls had their makeup done by my Mary Kay lady for the Day of, because they all wanted it to look professional. My makeup was done by her too... And it was really affordable!
