MARLES...

I saw on another post that you said you wish you could make the name tags look like snowflakes. I have an idea for you...Martha Stewart always talks about this...in fact, if you look on her website, you may find it. You can buy big paper punches from Michael's craft store. It's almost like a big hole puncher but in the shape of a snowflake. It's located down the aisle with the stamps, stationary etc. I originally thought that I would be married in the winter and wanted to do this, but with a small snowflake paper punch to make confetti to throw (instead of rice, etc.). I was going to use a silvery colored paper for the snowflakes. Just an idea...good Luck!

Re: MARLES...

I just found it on Martha Stewart.com......

Go to the website and under search put in 'place card set', it should come up. They have one shaped like a snowflake...it's $22 for 100 of them. I knew that I saw it somewhere!!!

Re: J&A

Hey marnels,

if the michael's snowflakes don't work out for you, the pre-school I work at during the summer has the snowflake cut outs from the elison machiene. They look great and you can do them in any paper you like. I can always get you a sample and if they are good, I can go there with you after school one day and help you punch them out. They would have no problems with us using it (since they just love me and we are employees of the district anyway). Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for emailing me back. I'll write later and let you know how it went yesterday. Right now I have to get ready for Kim's e-party.

Kelly-
OOOOOOOOOooo .... I didn't even think of the Elison....are the snowflakes solid (uncut) in the center where I could write the guest names?? Thanks soooo much for the information!

Have fun a Kim's e-party! Wish her the best of luck from me!! :)

Maybe a trip to long beach this week? Let me know!

Yep.... they are uncut in the center. I think they are what you are looking for.

A trip next week sounds great. I'll email you later or tomorrow. Right now I'm just waiting for my dear FH to pick me up.

I think steel blue is a silvery, blue color. I think it's probably very pretty. Good Luck!
