And tell them what town you are getting married in and if you should come to them for the certificate. I am pretty sure you should..

Re: marriage cert

Kerri - Roslyn is closer to Manhasset so go to the Town of North Hempstead to get the marriage license. You can get one anywhere in NY state:

Here's the Town of North Hempstead's website

Re: marriage cert

Yes, that's the address and you will have plenty of time to be at your e-picture shoot at noon.

The hours for marriage licenses are 9:15 to 3:15. We haven't gotten our license yet, but I have to go there all the time for work-related stuff and the office is usually pretty empty.

Re: marriage cert

We were going to get the certificate the Wednesday before the wedding ... just because schedule wise that was the next day off we both had. BUT I ended up having to take off for the tasting... so now I'm trying to make it an eventful day by getting a whole lot done at once.

Re: marriage cert

In the Town of Brookhaven (Suffolk Co.), it took me at DH literally 15 minutes to get it done. As long as there's not a massive wait, it's an easy thing to do!
