Do you need a money order for the marriage certificate or can you pay with credit card or cash? Is it $40 or $30 if you are in NYS not NYC? Thanks!

We went to Babylon Town Hall and we paid 40 dollars cash

The license should be $40...and I think in certain counties they let you pay cash...in NYC though you can only pay by Money Order. The certificate arrives after the wedding...they say 6-8 weeks but mine was in my mailbox when I came back from my HM.
