Marriage Certificate

Hi girls,

This is a little childish looking but I really like it. Can I just buy it and my officiant use it for our official certificate? I don't want to buy it if I can't use it. I'm clueless

you have to get your marriage license first and that is what your officiant will sign when you are married. The certificate will be mailed to you. You have to pay for it or your marriage won't be legal

you have to go to your town clerks office, apply for one (by filling out paperwork, showing 2 forms of ID), pay $40 and then you get your marriage license.

it is valid for 60 days (your wedding day has to fit within the 60 day period)

your priest fills it out after the ceremony, sends it in to the town and them you get your official certificate in the mail
