marriage certificate

We live in suffolk county- can anyone tell us where to get our marriage certificate? The wedding is only 47 days away now! Is it too early to get the certificate? I thought I heard anytime after the 60 day mark is fine to go- please let me know! Thanks ladies!

marriage certificate - Long Island Weddings

At the 60 day mark you can get your marriage certificate. You can go to a Town Hall to get it. Not sure where in Suffolk you are located, but there is the Babylon Town hall, Huntington Town Hall, Islip Town Hall, etc.

We got ours about 58 days before our wedding. We went to Hempstead in the morning and it took about 5 minutes.
