Marriage Class

Anyone out there doing this? or have done this? FH's mother recommended that we sit and talk to someone before marriage. She does marriage counseling aside from her fulltime job as a SW.

I thought I saw someone mention one a few days ago but can't find the post.

thoughts??? or recommendations?

looking for something non-denominational also

Our pastor (Rev. Deb) offers a class a few times a year, I believe the next one is in January. Its pretty inexpensive (I thought it was a six week class for $175, but her website says 95, I guess contact her for deets). I'm a dork, and since we're not religious nor doing pre-cana, I want some sort of 'prep'. I think its important for a couple to 'formally' discuss things in a workshop manner, before you walk down the aisle. I know a few couples who did it, and RAVED about them.

She's a vendor on here, non-denominational and highly recommended. And a total sweetheart.
