Marriage licence time line

How long b4 ur date do u have to get the marriage licence.

we went around the 40 day mark I think...we r at 26 days now. You have to wait 24 hours to get married from when you get the license. You have 60 days to use it

You must have you marriage licence for a min. of 24 hours before you wedding date. You can go up to 60 days before.

We got ours the Wednesday before our Saturday wedding...but you can go anywhere between 60 and 2 days before your wedding date.

i would suggest to do the application online prior to going to the court to do the actual license. It saves a lot of time!! If you do it online then you have 21 days for the application to remain in effect. within 21 days you have to go to the court and get the license or do the application over again.
