I believe it is godd for 60 days. We went to Town Hall in Smithtown. We needed our drivers license and SS card. The hours there are 9-4 so I went into work late that day. Other town halls may have different house though.
I was just told on Sun. from a friend who got married in late May that it is, indeed, good for 60 days, so you shouldn't go too early. She also told me I may have to take a day off or leave early/come in late. I have yet to figure out where to go for mine. Recently moved to Yonkers but work in NYC. Good luck!
we went yesterday and the lady told us it's good for 60 days... after that you have to go and get another one if you go to early... you can officially get married 24 hours after you get the license... FH and I went on his lunch break yesterday b/c they didn't have late hours...
I live in Nassau County in Carle Place where should I go to get mine?

yeah it is good for 60 days! we went to Town Hall in Smithtown. All we needed was our SS card and our driver's license! it was so fun! :) they even took pictures for us! As you can see in my avatar! lol![]()

There is also a Town Hall In Hempstead.
