which towns do not require a birth certificate? FH's is somewhere in another state.....who knows where. i called smithtown, but they need it. anywhere that doesn't???? thanks!

I dont think there is any place that wouldnt need that.
Could you call the hospital he was born in and have them send it?

call up each hall.....
i know hempstead town hall will take a combination of documents for ID
license AND
passport or birth certificate.
my friend who just got married had her BC and her husband only his passport.
most town halls will tell you on the phone what you need or you might even find it on their website which forms of ID are allowed. some even take a baptismal certificate instead of a birth certificate or passport!
