This may be a stupid question but I am not from Long Island, can I get my marriage license in Long Island or do I have to go to 1 of the 5 boroughs?

I think it depends where you get married...like im getting married in Long Island and my lisence HAS to be from Long Island ...not one of the 5 boroughs

Thats actually a great question. I should look into it. I am from the Bronx but will be marrying upstate..Im wondering if I have to get my license up there.....
