Marriage license?

If I'm getting married in Long Island, does that mean that I have to get my license in LI as well or can I get it in manhattan?

I believe you can go anywhere in the state and apply. Here's a link I found with some info. Scroll down to application requirements.

As long as you are getting married in New York, you can obtain the license anywhere in New York.
