it is ok to apply for the license in sept , since it will be valid for 60 days and we are getting married in oct . i hope this made sense.

I'm getting married on October but FH and I are going on Friday to get ours b/c once I start my new job I don't want to have to take time out to go and get it, so Fri will be the last weekday we both have off (and of course the office is only open during business hours!)
As long as you're within the 60 days, it doesn't matter!

Yep, totally fine. You need to get your licence between 1 day and 60 days before your wedding date.
We're actually going next week since I have to take half the day off anyway. Get it done and out of the way so I don't have to take more time closer to the wedding day.
