Marriage License

Can you go to any town hall in NY? What do we need to bring?

you need to bring your license, birth certificate (they might not ask for it, but i brought it in case, the clerk just glanced at it) and a $35 money order.

We went to the Hempstead Town Hall and we just had our birth certificate and passport and 40 dollars. That was it and it went really fast no long lines.

Yes Hempstead is fast- DH and I went there as well.
