I am getting married in Nassau...

Where do I have to go? What do I have to do? How long does it take? How much?

I heard it expires in 60 days so do it within 45 days of your wedding date. I also heard town hall!

i went to huntington town hall ... we were in and out in 10 minutes, went on a monday first thing in the morning.

it costs $40 and they only accept check or debit card.

you'll need your and your FH's drivers licenses and birth certificates

so it doesn't matter in what county you are getting married???

it does not matter where you get it from. we live in nassau but got married in suffolk. just make sure its within the 60 days because they expire. it was $40 and you can go to any town hall that offers marriage licenses. i would just call to find out their hours of operation, in most places there is only one person that does the license.
