marriage license help

we're residents of nyc cuz we live in queens but were getting married outside of the city (nassau). do we have to get our license within the city or doesnt it matter?

also, for those getting it within the city (queens) where are you going, is the courts in forest hills the only place?

in nassau, where do i go? city girls dont know much about town halls and whatnot, sorry, lol

you can get the marriage license anywhere and it will be valid anywhere in the state so yes, you can get a marriage license in queens and get married in nassau

you can get it at any town hall in nassau or suffolk so you just have to go with your fh, bring you birth certificate and license. We got ours in under 20 min
