Marriage License help

So my fiance is currently working out of state and doesn't plan to be back until the Wednesday night before our wedding. We plan to go on that Thursday to get our marriage license, with the 24 hours processing time required we should be all set for our Saturday wedding.

Only problem is that I am freaking out that we are leaving it to so close to the wedding. God forbid something goes wrong and we cant get it that Thursday. We are screwed! FH already used all his vacation days for the wedding and honeymoon and doesn't have any more to come back for a day and get it done, unless its a weekend. So my question is, is there any place in New York State that we can get apply on a Saturday? Or even a place thats open late?

I think you should be fine getting it on the thursday before your wedding. It literally took DH and me 15 minutes and was fairly painless.

Just make sure you have your birth certificates and you should be all set.

I *think* huntington town hall has late hours one night each week, but i don't remeber how late, or which night ... i'm sure you can google it
