Curious how this works. I live withing walking distance from the place in Queens where I can get one, but I'm a city girl, and I want to go to city hall. For those who have gone, I'm wondering how long it took?

Get there early in the morning...no waiting at all! My brother got his there last month. But, FYI, it's not actually City Hall where you get it...it's the Admin. Building at One Centre Street. HTH!

1 Centre Street is the place. TOTALLY NOT romantic
We went in the afternoon - about 1pm - and it took about an hour. We really felt like it took forever because we had an appointment in Long Island at 3:30pm so we were watching the clock and really stressed - otherwise I think it wouldn't have felt so bad.

It was so quick....we went in the morning took abour 40min and we were out of there! Definitly not romantic lol!

We went to Centre Street and it was very quick...only took a half hour..it was cool to see a bunch of couples waiting outside the chapel to get married
