FH and I are planning on getting our marriage license at the kew gardens borough hall. I have tried calling their number but noone answers, online it says they are closed on legal holidays. Should it be ok if i go this upcoming Friday, day after thanksgiving? Also, we only need two forms of id and $35 money order right??? THANKS!

They should be open on Friday but dont quote me on it. Me and DH went and we ended up getting the nastiest woman ever, just make sure you print everything clearly. It was pretty funny when we left we couldnt stop laughing. She was talking to us like we were idiots! I think you can charge it, I remember having a c.c. forgot the price, sorry.

Yeah we paid by money order and they only asked for 1 form of ID. WE both showed just our licenses

All we needed was our Driver's Licenses and a credit card. The Friday after Thanksgiving should be fine.. but def call to be 100% sure.

City workers do not get the day after Thanksgiving off. It's probably a good day to go only because there wouldn't be so many people there. I use to work right across the street. Good Luck!
