I only needed a drivers license. In queens and the other boroughs they only ask for a license. I do know some places in LI want both a license and birth certificate

Re: marriage license Qs!!!!!!!!

I called the town clerk in Suffolk county today and she said we both needed our BC or certified with the seal BC and then either our passport OR a drivers license... we both need 2 forms of ID.

Also not this may not apply but if you have a BC in another language you need a notarized letter with it in english... and they only accept check or MO.

If you go to the Long Beach Town Hall, it looks like they do require a birth certificate.

Here's a LINK to more info.

(if the link doesn't work, its on www.longbeachny.org)
