Would anyone happen to know when I should get a license for a 7/11 wedding? FH asked someone at work and they said you need to get it 2 weeks before because it expires. Does that sound right?

it is valid for 60 days in NY.

Yeah you can get it up to 60 days before, i got mine early so at least I could get that off my list. (I'm glad I did!)

our wedding is July 31st and our priest told us to get it the week of July 19th.

Don't put it off too long either, they are not valid for use until a day or so after getting one.

wow you guys are right it valid for 60 days.............good luck to everyone getting married in July. i am actually getting mine in July or something.........
