Marriage License Question

FH and I are going to go to the Town of North Hempstead. Is a birth certificate a valid form of id?

I don't see why not. Me and DH went to Hempstead and used our passports as ID.

how far in advance am i supposed to get the license??

Once you get your marriage license it is valid for 60 days.

YAY!! FH and I got our marriage license today!! and they do accept a birth certificate as a form of id.
