I'm taking off a day to get ours, and FH is leaving work early. They all close at 4. How early do I need to get there? Is 2 too late? Some people said if we get there at 2 and there's a line, they'll make us come back if we don't get in there by quarter to 3. What's your experience?

First thing in the morning is supposedly the best time... but I think 2PM should be plenty.

Where are u going to go to get it?
I went to the Town of Oyster Bay South office in N. Massapequa at about 11. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Also call ahead, a lot of place offer a couple of late nights per month.
