Marriage License Question.

I am new to the boards and I was wondering if you ladies could help me out. I have some time before my wedding and I would like to know what exactly shows up on the marriage certificate. The situation is, my fiance was married before, will it state anywhere on the license or on the certificate that he has been divorced? Thanks in advance for your help. I hope you all enjoyed your holidays!

Marriage License Question.

I don't know if it says anything on the license itself, but when you apply, you have to let them know if you were married before and if you were, you have to show your divorce papers. On the license itself it says that Bride married Groom on Date. And if you're taking his name, it says 'new name' underneath your maiden (or in parenthesis). But you have to bring his divorce papers, along with your license!!!
