Marriage License question

If Im getting married in July, when do we go for our license??

It's only good for 60 days, then it expires...

We'll probably go the end of May

We just went on Monday and our wedding is next Friday...I guess it is up to you when you want to go.
We went to the one in Hempstead. I showed my passport and DL and FH showed his work ID (has picture) and DL.
The one in Hempstead is across from Hempstead High School at the Villiage Town Hall. It was easy and we were in and out in 20 minutes as a 'unofficial' Mr. and Mrs.
