Marriage license question

Marriage license question

Hi Ladies,

Does FH have to come with you when you apply for your marriage license? Can i go to the town and pick up the form, have him sign or something and then bring it back? are they open on saturdays/

Please help. thanks!

Both have to be present to get your marriage license....

I think that you both have to go together. Sorry I dont have any other info.. Im not up to that part yet.. (but soon! ) One of the already married ladies know, for sure.

Do you know if they are open on saturday and where do i go if i live in nassau county - floral park.

you both have to be there, and I doubt they would be there on sat, you need to go to your town hall's clerk's office. Most of them should have a late day, thats when we are going.

We went to Town of Hempstead ( ToH website It doesn't matter where you go to get the license, you can go to any town clerk's office in New York. Since they are gov't, they are open M-F. You both have to be present.
