I received my marriage certificate from the church, however the DMV will not accept this in order to change my name. Does anyone know if the state definitely sends you an official marriage license, and if so, how long does it take? Thanks!

we got our marriage certificate from the state a w/ in 10 days of our wedding.
call your town hall and find out when u should expect to get it.
