Do you need to bring anything specific with you besides your drivers license?
if you go in NYC thats all you need, if you go anywhere on Long Island you need your birth certificate as well.

yup I was going to say that .. also if you go online you can fill out the paper work and its one less line to stand on
you go to the town hall that of the town you live ( I live in Sayville, so I have to go to Islip town hall) I went onto the town halls website to get the paperwork (which is the same throughout NYS) then you need your BC and proof of ID.

where online do i go???? and i thought it was just 2 forms of ID, it has to be the birth certificate?
