Marriage license question -ID

Hi.

Can I show a license and passport?

I do not have my Birth Certificate.

We used just our passports and since it shows your place of birth, it's sufficient.

Just make sure you bring something with your SSN on it...either your social security card or another valid ID with the # on it. Certain town halls require that.

I would definitely check with the town hall that you plan to go to. When I called Islip town hall (where we got our marriage license) they told me that a passport would be considered picture ID but that a birth certificate was also necessary.

We used our birth certificates and driver's licenses.
