Marriage License-Town of Hempstead

What do we have to take with us to get the license? And how long did it take to get it?

I believe just your drivers license and passport or birth certificate and $40. You get it the same day.

We were in and out very quickly - maybe 30 minutes? But there was no one else there when we went.

This is great.... My best friend went into the city for hers..... Can people from Queens county also have it done there? i have a cousin who would much rather go into manhasset, but she lives in Queens. I wouldn't think it would matter, but just want to make sure she doesnt make the trip for nothing....I can always call and find out....
