Marriage license--weekend or evening hours?

Marriage license--weekend or evening hours?

Does anybody know if you can get your marriage license on the weekend or evening? FH and I are in PA, and we wanted to save all of our days off for the wedding/honeymoon. We're 1 hour from NYC by train, and 2 hours from LI by car. If anybody knows of any offices open late or on weekends, it would be a great help. Thanks!

none are open on the weekends and most close before 5...

i just went to the one in the nyc and it opened at 8:30am m-f .. your best bet would be to go early morning.. you could be back to PA before noon.. takes like 20 minutes if your there early to line up..

We live in PA too and did it the Thursday before the wedding-- we were there right when the opened and there was no one else there-- it was so easy and quick. I think you might have a 30 day window to use it, so taking half a day a month before the wedding might not be bad...
