When do you think is the latest you can get your marrriage license? We are getting married on 8/27 and are trying to figure out a time we can get there together during the day...FH works in Manhattan but we are both taking the 25th and 26th of August off, do you think that is too close to the wedding?
I'm pretty sure you have to get it more than 24 hours before the wedding.
if you need to do it that close go on the 25th
NYS law states the license has to older than 24 hours. Check your time if you wait until the last day.
I would definitely try and make it for the 25th also....and before 4pm as most town clerk offices close at that time.
