Marriage License WITHOUT Birth Certificate? Who has done it?

Ok, so I don't know where my birth certificate is.
Getting a new one in time for the wedding is out of the question (I was not born in NY)

I do have:
Passport
Driver's license
Credit Cards
Health Insurance Card
Work ID
etc....

Can I use the passport and driver's license?

I've read different posts on here, some say 'ABC does not need the birth certificate' then in another thread it says 'I needed a birth certificate at ABC'

It seems like I don't need a birth certificate at the manhattan city hall.

But I think the Manhattan location is going to be packed, especially now that they are allowing gay marriages. I heard there is a huge rush of people applying for licenses now.

What about places in Long Island?

Who managed to get their Marriage license without the birth certificate in Long Island? (and where)

I think LI requires the birth certificate. I got my marriage license in Queens and didn't need my birth certificate.

i went to the islip town hall to get my marriage certificate .. only needed passport and license

Queens courthouse on Queens Blvd (we only showed our license)

this. We were in and out in about 10 minutes

I went in Riverhead and it def. had to be a birth certificate. The website specifically says they won't accept anything else.
