I live in Massachusetts but I am getting married in NY - where do I get my marriage license?

I would think NY since you are getting married here and the officiant is registered in NY

yes, it's ny. its wherever you are getting married. you will then have to take your marriage license to the MA dmv for your name change stuff.

I currently live in Ohio and got married in NY. If you are getting married on LI, just make sure you and your FH bring your drivers licenses, birth certificates (NOT a copy--the real one), and $40. It's really easy--they mail a copy of the marriage certificate to your home address, no matter where you live :).
