marriage licsence

ok so we dont need our birth certificates? will a passport and drivers liscens be enough? i know we weill need a money order, but it that it? tia

We needed our birth certs, and we paid for the license w/ a personal check, but we got ours in Town of Brookhaven, so I don't know if it's different where you are getting yours. You can call your town clerks office and ask. HTH!

go to this website. It is for the New York state department of health, and it will tell you everything you need to know about getting a marriage license.

thanks- but the problem is some say you do need birth cer. some dont mention it. i was reading a post and a girl said she only needed her passport or liscense thats why i was wondering.

Just call your town clerk before you go down there, or just bring everything w/ you. I never go by anything online w/ out looking into it first, you never know when it was last updated.
