I know there have been a million posts re. this topic but I keep typing various things in doing a search and can not find any Where are the locations? Any phone numbers? SItes? What ID do u bring? and is it true that u must pay by money order??

If you click on the Planning tab at the top of the page...then click on Marriage license that should help....good luck!

You can go to the town hall in your area, bring with you your Birth Certificate and Your drivers license, If this is a second marriage for either one of you bring the divorce decree too. Bring your pass ports if you have any. We payed in cash.

I went to the Brookhaven Web-Site and printed the application from there. I believe they said they would take cash as well as a money order.

Bring you BC and your drivers license, you can pay in cash it does not have to be a money order-but some wont take cash...so call and ask You both have to go to do it, and have an idea of where you were born. Its simple and you shouldnt be there very long, it only took us about 15 minutes.

Hey.... you need proof of 1-Age (usually birth certificate, but you can use your baptism cert. also) 2- Picture ID- License/Passport 3- Social security # - SS Card, Tax form, Paycheck
We paid in Cash.... $40

Our town clerk required a birth certificate, and won't take a check. I'd find your local town hall in the blue pages and call ahead.
