Do you know if you have to get one in the town you are getting married in? Cause I live in Massapequa but thought I had to go to Town of Islip to get mine since the church is in Bay Shore

I think u can get married in any town, here's a link for town halls:

u don't have to get an app for the paperwork, just bring an id and ur birth certificate (if u're getting ur marriage license in long island)

an app is only necessary if u want an officiant from the town hall to marry u
