I get the sensus (sp) that most of the brides decided to see the groom before hand. I really dont want to see him before hand i wanted to see his face when i come down the aisle. Now i have been in tears for the last 2 days becuase i feel like i am bumping heads with my family regarding pictures. i want to do CH pics of just me and him and now i see posts that i will be too rushed and not get the best quality. I feel like my wedding isnt going to be all I dreamed.

your wedding will be everything that you dreamed. Pictures IMHO are the most important that and video. people who have waited to see their FH until they were walking down the aisle have gotten divorced, there is no such thing as bad luck, you MAKE your own luck! i honestly believe seeing eachother before hand will not define if you stay together or not. I am taking pictures way before the ceremony so im not rushed and i can have those memories forever!!!

If it upsets you, then wait to see him! I waited to see my DH and I was very excited to see him at the end of the aisle.
The problem is because we try to go by tradition. But how many other things are by tradition? Do what you want to do. If you want to have 'the moment' seeing each other, but get pics done before, most photographers have captured getting the two of you in a room seeing each other. They will still get the reaction. I know this is possible because I have shot weddings before. You dictate what you want.
SO, yes, I just defended both sides a bit. It's all about the 2 of you. If you planned on things, then do it! Don't let others tell you what to do.
