WHO DRANK BEFORE THEIR CEREMONY? DID YOU DO IT TO CALM YOUR NERVES? DID YOU GET AT ALL BUZZED ??

Just some champagne, didn't go crazy....Dh & I barely drank at all which had its pros and cons.

eta: don't drink too much before b/c its a b*tch to go to the bathroom in the dress

Just a glass of champagne. The girls and I did a toast in my hotel room before we left. I also barely drank all night - until the after party

i drank mimosas.. i was probably one of the most calm brides in the world lol.. so it definitely wasn't for nerves.. and i didn't get buzzed before the ceremony.. saved that for when DH & i downed a whole bottle of champagne in the limo before getting to our pictures

LOL... ill have to agree as well... i only peed twice all day in my dress & how i had to do it still cracks me up

no i didnt. i didnt wanna get an upset stomach when i already had one, lol. plus drinking makes me hot and i didnt wanna be sweating anymore than i already was. needless to say when i got to the alter i could smell the alcohol coming off DH ha

i think i drank a bottle of champagne while getting my hair and makeup done

i did have some fruit and a few munchkins

after the pre ceremony shoot i had two more glasses on the party bus

i went to the br the second we got to cb and one more time before the ceremony.

didnt go once during the reception but thats because i only had two drinks

This is a GREAT point!! I feel such bad anxiety already about walking down the aisle (alone) and reading my vows (we wrote our own) ... I dont want to get drunk but Im going to need something to make this anxiety go away
