I'm not, I'm happy that phase is over and the real thing begins.
But some ladies tell me they miss planning and the anticipation of the wedding.
How about you, what do you think?

Re: Married Ladies.....
We were feeling a little sad the first day or two. We got over that quickly on the honeymoon.
Now it's nice to have our own non-wedding thoughts again. You never know how much it takes over your thoughts and life until it's over.

I'm so excited that it's over! So relieved from the planning! Time to enjoy married life!

Re: Married Ladies.....
Really not sad but I think it's because I am so preoccupied with getting my life together in a new state.
Plus, I was drained from wedding planning and have no real regrets. I think maybe if you wished you did something, or whatever, and didn't you'd feel it.
We did everything we wanted (within reason) and have had the best comments (STILL) so there is no reason to miss it.
I was also so nervous because I wanted it to be fabulous. And it was, so I can rest assured that it was a fun time and won't be topped for a while with my crowd!

I did not enjoy planning that much so I am glad that is over. I am sad the day is over because it was so much fun and I was on cloud nine the WHOLE day!
I am happy to be married and to be a newlywed, it has been fun living together and getting adjusted and it is exciting to think about our future together, what will come-kids, a house, vacations, life things.

I am extremely sad that it's over. Looking back, I really enjoyed wedding planning. I had a lot of stressors to deal with, but I was still able to enjoy the planning.

I'm sad but I'm not. Certain people made it difficult for me and a vendor or two really let me down. I have such mixed feelings looking back on it - though I really wouldn't mind reliving the ceremony and reception just one more time.

Not sad at all! Happy the planning is over & done with! I started to get so overwhelmed with it at the end!!! We have no regrets about our wedding. We did everything we could & had the wedding of our dreams!
I am also pre-occupied now with house stuff, changing my name, thank yous & being a wife! Plus I have two friends getting married within the next 8 months, so watching them plan & giving them support helps!
Now I am onto enjoying married life & being a family!!!

Hollie - I know exactly what you mean! I was so depressed the first month or so after the wedding was over. But magically as DH and I were unpacking boxes around the house and just putting this away one weekend a few months ago, once all my wedding stuff went to the attic (and yes, I CRIED when we I boxed it all up), the sadness went away and I've just been enjoying married life to the fullest!
I've even gone from watching our video every day to now only watching it twice a week!
ETA: We went to a wedding a month after ours, and I was SO jealous of the bride right before she walked down the aisle because I wanted to experience that moment again.

I'm not, it was fun, but it's nice to have weekends back without wedding planning or do-it-yourself projects.
Plus, like another bride said, I was getting stressed that the day would go well and everyone would have a great time, which from what we have heard we accomplished that.
I'm excited now for the future and what it may bring

I miss it, and I was so sad the first few days after. I had the best wedding ever, and I want to relive it again and again. It's a week now and the feeling is starting to get better. We are leaving for our honeymoon tomorrow so I am starting to get excited for that. Everyone tells me that it gets better with time, and it's true I guess. But I am still sad.

Re: Married Ladies.....
I definitely do NOT miss the stress of planning the wedding, not one bit!!
But, I do wish I could just re-live the actual day over again, because it went by way too quickly. It was so magical and unreal, I can't even find the words to describe it.......
