Does anyone else feel like year #2 is so much better than the first year of marriage?
I've only been married almost two months but they say the first year is the hardest year.
I would have to say that if you don't live together before you get married that the 1st yr would be the hardest. DH & I lived together for 4 1/2 yrs before we got married and let me tell you that first yr living together was really tough!!!
For us it is. We're almost up to our 2 year anniversary and I do think it was easier than our 1st year. But a lot went on in that first year with house hunting and then getting used to owning our own home, so that created a lot of stress for us. We didn't really have anything major like that going on this year, so we were able to just enjoy ourselves more.
we just passed our first year anniversary in february---and year #1 was utterly awesome. we didn't live together before marriage and we had such a great time finally being a couple in our own place! i love it!
