Married ladies...

How many pairs of shoes did you bring on your HM??? FH keeps telling me that I'm allowed 3 cause he doesnt want us to have 5 bags!

I know its a silly question, but I have to show him Im not the only girl in the world that has to bring more than 3 pairs!

OMG girl DONT DO IT. I packed 8 million shoes and wore like 2 pairs of flip flops. I also paid 50 bucks extra for overweight luggage because of it If youre going somewhere warm, trust me, you wont need them all. I know as a girl we like that security of having them JUST IN CASE. But its up to you if you wanna pay the overaized luggage FEE!

He never lets me live down our first trip together. We went to Aruba, and I packed 22 pairs of shoes... We were only there for 7 days. Why I needed all those shoes is beyond me, but he still to this day makes fun of me for it! But I just felt that I needed to have all of them!

LOL you asked the wrong person....

disclaimer: i had to pack for the week before the wedding in NY, the wedding/RD, and one week in st lucia and then back to school so it all had to come with me

i packed:

- 1 pair black leather pumps (didnt wear )
- the same satin dress shoes in blue and pewter as possible RD shoes... but ended up buying a pair at the saks outlet so all 3 came to our HM
- 1 pair of leather everyday flip flops
- 2 pairs of pool/beach flip flops (my sorority pair ended up at our after party bc i lost my wedding shoes in the chaos that was my parents car)
- 2 pairs of 'just married' flip flops that i ended up packing and used on the last day of our HM
- 3 pairs of espadrilles... black, brown, orange
- 1 pair puma sneakers but forgot socks and had to borrow DH's

i *think* that is it..

(took 1 big suitcase, 1 small... checked both and took a backpack, lv speedy and laptop carryon --- DH carried on my laptop)

edit: used the leather flip flops, beachy flip flops and black espadrilles all the time. orange espadrilles once, sneakers for our excursion, and RD shoes for the RD.... the rest i didnt use

if i was a winter bride i'd totally rock the pair i have now --- 'wine and silver blue' (my sorority colors --- ugg calls them wood violet and wasabi) and they would actually match our ketubah perfectly)

i also have a normal looking pair of chestnut but i'm a sucker for crazy colored shoes

I love them! They are honestly the best shoes for winter ever! I have 3 pairs on them cause Im nuts.
I'm going to have to google the violet wasabi ones now!

i googled and couldnt find a shot of them, not sure if i have a pic of mine on my computer. they are your typical wood violet tall, but the piping on them is a light blue -- bought them on ebay bc i never found them in stores and zappos didnt have my size

OMG I love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I brought....

--everyday flip flops (black reefs)
--dressier flip flops (silver, leather type)
--athletic sneakers (for excursions or activities)
--black dressy sandals (wore a few times to dinner)
--red patent peep toe heels (wore ONCE to dinner)
--espadrilles

I think that's it! We went on a cruise for part though so I would dress up for dinner. At Sandals I dressed up for dinner too but most nights wore the silver flip flops (some places were in sand and stuff). Wore the red shoes ONCE but they just matched the outfit so well

For 8 night HM I packed about 4 Dressy Sandals and 2 or 3 pairs of flip flops that I alternated throughout our stay. I wore every single pair. Some sandals didnt match with certain outfits. Try to narrow it down to colors that you know are going to match with most outfits and you will be wearing your flip flops a lot. HTH

I'm not a big shoe person - I brought 5 pairs and used all of them

2 pairs flip flops (1 black & 1 brown)
2 pairs dressier sandals for dinners (1 black & 1 brown)
1 pair sneakers

I bought 5 pairs... But I did wear all of them.

DH brought 4 pairs!!!

What is wrong with these boys putting a limit on our CHOES

I HATE HATE HATE HATE when DH does stuff like that, doesn't he understand how important shoes are??!?!?!? lol Anyway,...I brought.....

1 Pair White Flip Flops & 1 Pair Black <---absolute MUST HAVES
1 Pair Aqua & Yellow Flip Flops which went with 2 outfits
1 Pair Hot Pink Flip Flops that went with my bathing suit
1 Pair Sexy Flip Flops from Guess with a Rhinestone on them (in addition to my other black flip flops b/c these couldnt' go in the sand)
1 Pair of Sexy Black Strappy Heels
1 Pair of Puma Sneakers (which I snuck in because I wore them on the plane )

So, all in all, not too bad.......
